Can I use AD7626 for Undersampling?
Help with Using EngineerZone is not a product support place. You have asked your question where people learn how to use EngineerZone. I am tagging ClaireL for assistance with the AD7626 and a suggestion for where this question should be moved.
In the future, please post your inquiries in a product support space and one of our experts will assist you. You may reference the home page for a menu of product support spaces.
I am looking in to this. I'll get back to you soon.
Please make sure that there is a good filtering at your input signal. The ad7626 is a 10MSPS ADC with wide bandwidth. What input frequency are you using? If you are using an input frequency above 20Mhz, I would advise to have a lower input signal amplitude to achieve good performance.
I cann't know whether AD7626 for undersampling, my signal is core frequency of 20MHz, Bandwidth is 5MHz ,so I
have to use undersampling .
Can ad7626 for undersampling？ yes or no?
The AD7626 Tcycle range from 100ns to 10,000ns. This mean that it can have a sample of 100khz to 10Mhz.You may do undersampling. As mentioned, the input structure of the AD7626 does not allow for full scale inputs with higher frequencies than 20Mhz to be sampled correctly. You may sample signal with frequency higher than 20Mhz but at lower amplitude.
