Issues with bit stream for FMCOMMS2 reference design

I am trying to build the Beacon Frame receiver from the Zedboard SDR training "Integrated Software-Defined Radio on Zynq®-7000 All Programmable SoC":| Zedboard


I am using Vivado 2014.3.

I have been able to generate the bitstream for the project "fmcomms2_zed_802_11_RX".

This is essentially equal to the ADI reference design, but including the Beacon Frame receiver, which is attached to an ILA.


I am able to boot the Linux now via JTAG, and I can also see the ILA in Vivado.

However, the monitor attached to the HDMI port does not get signal.


There are some errors visible in the boot log that indicate that there are issues concerning the AD7511 HDMI interface and the cf_axi_dds_so.


Here is a short list of the errors that I receive during the boot:


adv7511 0-0039: Failed to write 98 = 3: -110

adv7511: probe of 0-0039 failed with error -110

cf_axi_dds_so Major version mismatch between PCORE and driver. Driver expected 6.00.a, PCORE reported 7.00.a

adv7511-hdmi-snd adv7511_hdmi_snd.4: ASoC: CODEC (null) not registered


I have attached the complete boot logs for both, the ADI/AVNET SD CARD boot, as well as the boot with my own bitstream via JTAG.

I did use the same boot.bin and uImage for both boots.
