DMA data transmit from parallel flash to EPPI on BF548

HI to All!

My question is:

 

What is the most fast and effective way to transfer data from BF548 EZ-Kit PC28F128 flash to EPPI peripheral

connected to some kind of FPGA?

 

The relevant examples I found VisualDSP 5.0 package are:

"Flash Programmer" and "ezkitBF548_initcode_ROM-V02.dpj" .

(The "Flash Programmer" uses VisualDSP++ 5.0 Device Drivers and System Services.

And "ezkitBF548_initcode_ROM-V02.dpj" manages flash directly, without API library.)

 

I assume that I have to config the EBIU:

*pEBIU_MODE   = ( B0MODE_FLASH | B1MODE_FLASH | B2MODE_FLASH | B3MODE_FLASH );

 

Also I would like to know - what is the effective block size in order to transfer 1GByte of data?

Also the EPPI mode I plan to use  is "GP FS1". But how exactly  this Frame Sync works. Does it

triggers callback routine at frame end?
