Our customer is searching following gyro sensor.
So what's your recommend device for this case?
Sensing angle = +/-10 degrees
Resolution = 0.1 degree
application = robot arm, so need small size for eval board
Thank you for offering more details on their needs. Based on what you have shared, I would probably start with the ADIS16265 or ADXRS453. Both of them have breakout boards that are fairly small and support ribbon cable interfaces with an embedded processor board. I hope that helps!
Gyroscopes typically specify their behavior in terms of angular rate of rotation, not in terms of absolute angle. Is this actually for a tilt sensor?
Customer want to know the angular rate of the robot arm finger, not abs angle.
I introduced your comparison chart as following to customer.
So I have brought as above spec.
The robot finger is very sensitive, and narrow area that the gyro can install.
Off course this is test and study for basic data getting.
If you have a good solution for the robot, please send it to me also.
I already introduced as following signal chain to customer.
But there are a few MEMS sensor. So the customer was not satisfy it.
