We are seeing that for input 1080p30 and 1080p29, adv7611 DE line is not toggling;
But for input 1080p60,59,50,25 DE line is toggling.
Is it expected or some additional configuration is required?

If we mux DE line into FIELD than we see that FIELD line is toggling for framerate 30 & 29.
So sorry for mentioning 1080p30, 1080p29 & 1080p25 . they are 1080i30, 1080i29 & 1080i25 respectively.
When we mux back DE line from FIELD to DE. We found:
For 1080i25, We sees DE line toggling & Our processor capturing the frame.
For 1080i29 & 1080i30, DE not toggling, stdi lock detection fails so our capture application fails.
On probing the line, We found that DE line Volatage level isn't correct for 1080i30 data(2nd image); while for 1080i25(first image) it is 3V around.
Do you have our evaluation board for ADV7611 or ADV7612?
We don't have evaluation board for ADV7611.
On our custom board, we are successfully capturing the 1080p60, 1080p50, 1080p59, 1080i25. & We are seeing the DE signal is stable and continuous.
But for 1080i30, 1080i29, We found that DE signal voltage is not stable.
We are observing that stdi vertical locking is always failing for 1080i30;
while stdi horizonatal locking is always locked and giving correct data for 1080i30.
Could this be the reason behind the unexpected behaviour of DE signal?
Please tell us what could be the reasons behind STDI vertical lock failing?
We strongly recommend customers working with ADV7611 or ADV7612 to purchase one of our evaluation boards for ADV7611 or ADV7612. That way you can experiment with known-good hardware and software.
Are you using a DVI/HDMI generator to generate the 1080i30 signal that you are providing to ADV7611?
We are generating the 1080i30 interlaced video from laptop in extended monitor mode.
For 1080i25 frames, the stdi vertical lock is always succeed. But for 1080i30 the stdi vertical lock fails.
It will likely be several weeks before I can test this in the lab. I would suggest that you purchase an EVAL-ADV7612-7511 or EVAL-ADV7612-7511P so that you can test on known-good hardware/software.
I had an opportunity to look at 1080i25, 1080i29, 1080i30 on the EVAL-ADV7612-7511 today. All receive/transmit fine and DE signal is 3V for each of them.
How are you configuring the ADV7611? Are you using our recommended scripts?

Have you checked through connecting Laptop in "extended monitor mode"?
Or have you checked with any hdmi pattern generator?
If you have used any hdmi pattern generator, Please recommend that to us.
I was using the software driver to configure EVAL-ADV7612-7511 and EVAL-ADV7611EB1Z. I'm thinking you will probably want to purchase one of these.
For HDMI generator, I was using Quantum Data 882E. It can be difficult to use a laptop since the laptop requires a valid EDID in the ADV7611/ADV7612 in order to output HDMI. We typically recommend customers purchase a DVI/HDMI generator for hardware verification and software development.
