There is a question that:
does RX and TX part use the same LO crystal of AD9361?
Yes it use same crystal for both RX & TX.
Raveendra, thanks a lot.
All AD9361 PLLs (Tx PLL, Rx PLL and BB PLL) use the same reference clock input and reference clock source.
The reference clock input can be configured for a crystal reference clock source or for a single ended reference clock source.
AD9361 has two RFPLLs on board. One is dedicated to Rx and one to Tx. They are used as LO sources and their frequencies can be independently controlled. BBPLL is used for generating all digital clocks for the part.
As you replied, the Local Freqencies of TX and RX parts can be set to different values, can't they?
But the BBPLL is unique for both RX and TX parts, which means it works for both parts. Does it work in this way?
Rx and Tx LO frequencies are generated by dedicated RFPLLs. One for Tx and one for Rx. They can be set to the same or two different frequencies.
BBPLL is common to both and is used to create all digital clocks.
