ADV3201 output is interfaced to AD725 input.
In datasheets of ADV3201 and AD725 both mentioned 75ohm shunt resistance at output and input respectively.
Whether is it required the 75ohm shunt resistance both the ends?
Normally for video circuits the source will have a gain of 2x with a 75 Ohm series resistor close to the source pin. The inputs will have a 75 Ohm shunt resistor. These 2 resistors create a 1/2 divider to get the signal amplitude back to normal and for impedance matching down the trace or cable. Video outputs expect to drive into a 150 Ohm load if they are 2x gain.
If the source gains are set to 1X then you might not need the resistor divider network, however I would still put some shunt resistor for the output has something to work against and some series resistor for impedance matching to the board trace.
