Hello to all, i was trying to build a kernel image for my Zedboard and AD-FMCOMM2-EBZ.

I followed these tutorials links  to make the Petalinux Image, but it doesn't work.

1. https://ez.analog.com/message/155421#155421

2. Linux with HDMI video output on the ZED and ZC702, ZC706 boards    [Analog Devices Wiki]

I dowloaded the following kernel versions by Github where i try to compile that :

https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/linux

i follow this workflow operation on my Linux Centos Os.

first ..

make ARCH=arm zynq_xcomm_adv7511_defconfig

#

# configuration written to .config

#

second...

make ARCH=arm uImage LOADADDR=0x00008000

result ..

scripts/kconfig/conf --silentoldconfig Kconfig

  CHK     include/config/kernel.release

  CHK     include/generated/uapi/linux/version.h

  CHK     include/generated/utsrelease.h

make[1]: `include/generated/mach-types.h' is up to date.

  CALL    scripts/checksyscalls.sh

  CHK     include/generated/compile.h

make[1]: *** No rule to make target `kernel/cred.o', needed by `kernel/built-in.o'.  Stop.

make: *** [kernel] Error 2

Can you help me please ?

Thankyou in advance
