Hej

My understanding of normal I2C and safeload I2C message is described below as and example message sent to addres 0x000a in the DSP as normal and safe load operation.

Please inspect and tell me if I have understood the syntax correctly.

If we send data to DSP selecting the Audio ON/OFF Mode for a tone generator, we send to address 0x000A the bytes 0x00,0x80,0x00,0x00

That will in terms of DSP communication be:

Init I2C Communucation with address 0x0038h

Send the bytes:

0a 00 00 80 00 00

If we are to safeload this we:
Init I2C Communucation with address 0x0038h
Send the bytes:
06 00 09 00 02 00 00 80 00 00

06 00 being the 0x0006 safeload address

09 00 being the 0x000a - 1 cell address

02 00 being the payload size in words (4 bytes)

00 80 00 00 The 4 bytes (2 words) for address 0x000A when there is no activity

Is it correct understood?
