Is it possible to change the ALSB level that goes from the Xilinx on the front end board to the board on the ADV739x interface port? I do not see a FPGA I2C register location that will let me do that.
I doubt the ALSB / EXP_ALSB signal is programmable in the FPGA.
Out of curiosity, why do you want to change the level of ALSB on the daughterboard? That would require you to modify any scripts that you run that configure the ADV739x.
If you want to change the level of this signal, you will probably need to remove R56 which connects the FPGA output (ALSB) to the signal going to the daughterboard (EXP_ALSB). Then you will need to tie the EXP_ALSB side of the resistor to 3.3V.
I can't go into details but we will be controlling it through our own microprocessor and not the scripts. We'll have to go with plan B and directly pull the ALSB line HI.
