Can someone please help me by telling how do we get the yaw from this 3 - axis inclinometer as it does not give and reading changes when i move it for change in yaw .

I am not sure what is happening here but I k now that I posted a response to this on 8/31 but it does not appear to be here. While I pass that strange occurrence on to our administrators, the following captures the essence of my previous response:
The ADIS16210 relies on gravity as its primary stimulus, so when the yaw axis of rotation is in parallel with gravity, changes in the yaw angle do not produce changes in the accelerometer. Therefore, it is not possible to get Yaw output angles from the device, when the Yaw-axis is in parallel with gravity. For that, you will need to use a gyroscope or magnetometer.

Yes, in my inertial frame the axis of rotation is parallel to the gravity.
Basically I want to measure the angular movement in the Horizontal plane.
The ADIS16210 uses a triaxial MEMS accelerometer, which enables incline angle estimation, based on each accelerometer's orientation, with respect to gravity. When turning the device around the Yaw axis, as it has been defined in this discussion, none of the three sensors will experience a change in orientation, with respect to gravity, so it will not be suitable for tracking yaw-angle measurements. That will require a gyroscope and/or magnetometer.
However is there any way I can use this same sensor by positioning it in a different way by which I can still measure the yaw ?
The 2 main angles i need to measure are Yaw and pitch.
