Hello,

I have a question about register "VID_SEL" of ADV7182.

The default of VID_SEL[3:0] (Address 0x02[7:4]) is 0000.
It indicates "Autodetect PAL B/PAL G/PAL H/PAL I/PAL D, NTSC J (no pedestal), SECAM".

For example, when analog input is limited to NTSC J, when we set VID_SEL = 0100 (NTSC J only),
what merit can we get? (For example, lock time is shorter than "autodetect" etc.)
We want to know what is the merit with setting except "autodetect".

Thank you.
Best regards.
