Preloading a file in ZedBoard, before running the no-os reference design.

Hi all,

I am using zedboard with fmcomms2.

I want to read an .wav file using the no-os reference design and to write its binary form in the DDR memory. I wrote the code to do that. But the problem is that when I run the code on Zedboard, since the file resides on my PC it does nothing. The question is how can I make this file accessible from the zedboard in order to perform the writing. I tried to put together the .wav file and .elf file of the program in SD card and to load from the SD card but also it didn't work. It seems that even on SD card it can not read the file directly.

I know that the linux based it should be easier since there exists the file system, but then maybe I will face problems to run the application for writing the binary file in memory, as well as to transmit those data from memory to ADC.

Any help or idea will be appreciated.

Jet.
