I would like to use the AD8302 for an impedance measurement application. The 2 input voltages for the AD8302 are the excitation voltage for the DUT and the response voltage (proportional to the current through the DUT). With the AD8302 I would like to build the ratio of the magnitude and the phase diff. between the 2 voltages, followed by an ADC, and so calculate the impedance of the DUT. The frequency range for impedance measurement should cover 10Hz to 10 MHz.
So my questions are:
- Would this application basically work with the AD8302?
- Is it possible to calculate phase diff. and magnitude ratio for the whole frequency range?
- Could you recommend me other devices from analog devices which would fit for my application?
