I've built one AD9834 with one DAC (exactly like in this schematic) to control the output amplitude. All the amplitude accuracy obtained from the DAC is lost in the elliptic filter due to the ripples, thus I would like to know if you believe feasible to compensate the ripples commonly found in aggressive elliptic filters (such as in this graph) with DAC's amplitude control, provided that filter's formula is known.
In other words, since I know output filter's mathematical curve, I would like to compensate amplitude ripples adjusting AD9834's output accordingly. Could it be done or components' tolerance will spoil all attempts to be accurate?
