ADE7880 - Can't get HSDC data

Hello,

I am new to ADE7880.

On my project, I need to get HSDC (high speed data capture) data. Now I can't get anything from HSDC interface, HSCLK pin stays at high, HSA pin is at high state all the time. I verified CLKIN is around 16 MHz.

Here is the set up upon the data sheet:

1. Configure MCU SPI port (I use PIC32) as the slave

2. Set HSDC_CFG (address 0xE706) register to 0x00

3. Set bit 6 of CONFIG to 1 to enable HSDC

Load value 0x0042 to CONFIG register

I assume after above setting, HSDC interface should be enabled to send 16 registers out at 8KHz rate, is it right, anything missing?

Thank you very much for the help.

Best,

Karen
