Hello engineers.

I am working on a RF project with Zedboard and FmComms1. So far I was satisfied with IIO Oscilloscope and the Linaro OS.

Therefore, I decided to pass from 12.04 to 14.04 : what a huge mistake ! Something had gone wrong during the installation process and I was not able to use the GUI.

I decided to recreate a Linaro OS image for FmComms1. My goal is to recover as much as possible the out-of-the-box OS.

I used this tutorial : http://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/ad-fmcomms1-ebz/software/linux/zynq

When I tested the system, u-boot returned me a kernel panic error.
The only thing I was not able to do is to patch u-boot. I saw in the logs that u-boot was unsuccessfully trying to read uramdisk.image.gz. Is it normal ? I don't have any uramdisk file but it seems that u-boot has to boot from SD card, not uramdisk.

Please find attached the u-boot logs.

Sincerely.
