I'm looking for a 100MHz to 4GHz LNA, customer is currently using Triquint p/n TQP3M9035 but concerned that the NF is
poor below 200MHz, typically ~ 0.7dB NF but 8 - 9 dB at 100MHz. Any suggestions?
Having to go that low in frequency, maybe better off with a low noise gain block like the ADL5611 or 5610. Higher NF mid-band, but better behaved at low frequency (2.6 dB at 140 MHz for the ADL5610).
Other options to consider might be HMC460 (dc-20 GHz, 2.5 dB nf) and HMC1049 (300 MHz to 20 GHz, 1.7 dB NF).
In adition to above, HMC374SC70 has 1.6 dB NF and its freq range is 0.3-3 GHz.
Depend on size and frequency, other candidate would be HMC580ST89. TQP- is 2x2mm and high linearity part. If frequency up to 1GHz is okay, HMC580ST89 has similar gain and OIP3, NF around 2.5dB.
