Need an IC for low current sensing

Hi, I am working on a project which requires an IC chip that can sense current levels in the 10 nA to 10 uA range. I essentially need to measure the current level passing through a variable resistor when I apply a fixed voltage bias of ~250 mV. I am not very familiar with the specs listed on the current monitors (most talk about voltage gain of a voltage measured across a shunt resistor) so I would appreciate it if I could get some help in determining what (if any) devices exist for what I want to do.

Thanks!
