I'm using the EVAL-AD7763EDZ independently, and I'm looking for a supply for it. I know that it requires 7.5V but i don't know the current.
If anyone knows i would highly apreciate it.
Yes, allocating 1 A current for the 3 boards is more than enough. I have tried connecting 3 boards of the same family and the supply showed ~ 750 mA current drawn for all of the boards running in normal power mode at the same time.
Usually, under "normal power" mode, the evaluation board will draw an approximately 240 ~ 270 mA of current when external power supply of +7.5 V is connected. Assuming that you are only using 1 eval board, you only take account on this current as "low-power" and "power-down" modes have considerable lower currents than this. If I set up my external supply for this, I usually limit it to 1.0 A and it will automatically give the required current to the eval board.
I will be using 3 of these boards, would the 1.0A still be enought?
