Programming the ADSP-21479 in assembly language

Hi,

I am trying to set up a project in CCES allowing me to program the ADSP-21479 in assembly language only. Although I can compile my .asm source file without error, my executable file appears to contain ~50 symbols and functions which I do not need. If I push the arrow button on the .dxe file in my project explorer to expand I get a list containing the following:

_adi_fatal_error_general_code

_adi_fatal_error_pc

_adi_fatal_error_specific_code

...

...

blk_inits_dm()

blk_inits_pm()

finish_inits()

...

...

I suspect that these are related to the long list of include files in my project (which I am unable to edit in the project settings).

My question: how can I set up a basic CCES project containing only my assembly source file and a header containing only the register definitions? Can I disassembly my executable afterwards to ensure that everything is correct?

Thanks in advance,

Chris
