ADV7612 - I2C Timeout when accessing EDID address 0xB1

Dear Supporter

When writing to the EDID memory in the ADV7612 we encounter an I2C timeout when attempting to write to EDID address 0xB1. We also noticed that in the customer script we received from the board vendor, entry 0xB1 is specifically commented out.

When this address in the EDID write sequence is bypassed, i.e. not written to, then the chip continues to initialize without any problem.

Any idea what could be the problem? Is there a special issue here to take care of when ac?cessing address 0xB1?

Thanks

Freddy
