Hi,

I would like to read in the shortest possible time three load cells.

These three load cells are connected to three ad7195 and these are connected to a microcontroller.

The lines common to all three ad7195 and the microcontroller are: DataIn, DataOut and Serial Clock.

With / CS1, / CS2 and / CS3 I enable one at a time the three ad7195.

INIT

I program every ad7195 going down the / CS.

I enable each ad7195 continuous reading.

READ

1)enable / CS1 and expect the signal / RDY is low

I read the data in 24-bit

2) I disable / CS1, enable / CS2 and expect the signal / RDY is low

I read the data in 24-bit

3)I disable / CS2, enable / CS3 and expect the signal / RDY is low

I read the data in 24-bit

I go back to step 1)

But the readings are incorrect!

The signal / SYNC in this read mode should be used?

If / CS is high in any case continue the conversion or the ad7195 converts only if the / CS is low?

Does anyone have a sample program?

or has already run a continuous readout of multiple cells?

thanks

Renato
