I wanted to do edge detection using PVP in BF609 with uClinux. But I didn't find any drivers for it. Kindly let me know if they are available and is there 'Blackfin Vision Analytics Toolbox' for uClinux too??
Moved to Blackfin Linux community.
Also can the APIs for the bare metal programming of PVP be used in uclinux environment too??
PVP driver is not available in the Linux kernel on BF609 core 0. However, you can develop your bare metal application with PVP driver for BF609 core 1 in CCES and make it work with your Linux application via MCAPI library.
Hi Lalitha, we think it would be better and more practical to run the PVP in core B bare metal code, instead of trying to port the code to core A Linux, now that we don't have it ready for you. Still you can run other applications on Linux core A, and communicate with PVP job on core B with MCAPI: test_mcapi [Analog Devices Open Source| Mixed-signal and Digital Signal Processing ICs]
Thank you Sonic and Aaronwu for your valuable inputs.
