In trying to build a BF533 project in Visual DSP++ 5.0 update 8, I get an error "A required resource was unavailable." How can I find out what is missing or corrupted?
This isn't an error emitted by the VisualDSP++ tools - it looks like it may be coming from the underlying C runtime.
If you are using Windows 7, can you please try performing a 'touch' of the installation by located the Setup.exe file, right-clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator". Choose the 'Touch this installation' option.
Once that has completed, locate the "idde.exe" and, again, right-click and choose "Run as Administrator". Do you see the same behaviour with the project?
Was the project created with VisualDSP++ 5.0 Update 8, or was it created with a different release? Are you able to share the project so that we can take a look? If you prefer not to share this on the public forum, you can contact private support through the link below.
Thanks very much Craig! "Touching" the installation solved that problem!
