I have instaled VisualDSP5 and update 8. I have observed Step Over (F10) almost always disabled. Why this happens?
Unfortunately i have been unable to recreate the behaviour you are reporting. At this point i think it would be best if you contacted our private support channel which can be found using the link below. When you contact us, please let us know which processor you are working with, whether you are able to recreate this with a VisualDSP++ example, and include a link to this forum thread.

Please clarify what you mean by, "Step Over (F10) almost always disabled". Do you mean that when you press F10 nothing happens and the 'Step Over' option within the Debug menu is unavailable (grayed out)? Or is it a case of that F10 doesn't function as you expected?
Please send us details of the exact behaviour you encounter when you press F10 and let us know if this behaviour is also apparent within a VisualDSP++ example.
When i say "disabled", i want to say the Step Over icon is "shadow", not work.
But i observed if i "click" on the code, the button (icon) show enabled. Then, if i click on the button or F10, the function Step Over work, and disables itself again. At this point if i click on the code again the funcion enables again, and everything repeats.
It is a strange behavior, and does not prevent the use of the Step Over. Only i need to click on the code.
Thanks for your attention.
