I have a design based on the AD9985A chip that receives RGB signals with Sync-On-Green in PAL format (625 lines/50Hz). What is the right configuration of the AD9985 that can support this kind of input video?
Are you asking for hardware or software configuration? Or, is it all done and it's not working?
If you look on page 15 of the datasheet it will show settings for 480i (NTSC) , which should be similar to PAL in terms of VCO Range and Charge pump settings. The part is really more intended for PC/Progressive formats though.
I'm asking about the registers configuration.
Are you sure that the 480i, which is 525 lines/60 Hz, is the same as PAL 625lines/50 Hz?

I meant from the standpoint of VCO range and charge pump current they should be the same since they have the same pixel clock frequency. The PLL should be the same for that reason as well.
There isn't any script, per-se, for any particular video format. There also is no Field signal output. What are you connecting the output of this part to?
The output of this chip is connected to FPGA that can switch the data to ADV7125 and AD723 chips in serial to make a composite PAL.
