I have read the AD-FMCOMMS2-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ HDL REFERENCE DESIGN(AD-FMCOMMS2-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS3-EBZ / AD-FMCOMMS4-EBZ HDL Reference Design [Analog Devices Wiki]) for  a few days, and i have some doubts when using the ise 14.4.

1. What is the function of AD9361  Reference HDL?

In the HDL design i_tx module, what is the purpose of using dds? for  QPSK?

2. In NO-OS SOFTWARE ad9361 driver, its main function is to initialize the AD9361?

3. In build the edk project, there is a error as follow,

'XPAR_AXI_DMAC_1_BASEADDR' undeclared (first use in this function)dac_core.c/cf_ad9361_sw/srcline 87C/C++ Problem

In the parameters.h file, there are two lines:

If i replace the XPAR_AXI_DMAC_0_BASEADDR with XPAR_AXI_DMA_0_BASEADDR,the error would disappear. The reason is in the xparameters.h file, there is no definition of XPAR_AXI_DMAC_0_BASEADDR .

4. If i want to the performance of AD-FMCOMMS4 with reference disign using the zedboard, am i must to add some real RF signals from RF-in port of S4?
