Branched from an earlier discussion

Hi,

I cant get the audio codec "adau1761" to work.

Hw source ("compiled" with Vivado 2013.4): https://github.com/analogdevicesinc/hdl

Kernel source: git://github.com/analogdeviceinc/linux.git

Kernel branch: xcomm_zynq

Kernel config: zynq_xcomm_adv7511_defconfig

Devicetree: zynq-zed-adv7511.dtb

Rootfs: linaro-precise-ubuntu-desktop-20121124-560.tar.gz

I changed nothing in the reference design.

The HDMI and everthing else is working fine but I cant get the sound or mic to work (linein, lineout, headphone ...). During bootup I see the alsa device and no error messages. But I cant see the sound devices in the ubuntu sound control "manger", on the other side it is visible in the alsamixer.

Is there a way to test the auda1761 within linux or in some other way? Do you have any ideas?

Greets Till
