Using trancendental functions inside an interrupt

Hello

I have modified the talk through example on the BF533 EZ Lite Kit to generate a sinewave using a look up table with predefined sine values. It works quite well.

Now just for a comparison I would like to simplify it by generating the actual sine values in the interrupt loop in real time using the sin() function. However I get nothing out from the DAC. Is there a problem using transcendental functions inside an interrupt ?? Could there be a timing or latency issue ??

david
