Does BF592 200 Mhz support HD size , BF592 will act as PPI to SPI interface between FPGA and CMOS sensor .
With best regards and wishes
Your limiting factor with trying to use a BF592 isn't speed, it is memory. An HD image for 720p is 1280x720, which means you'd need 900KB to store a single frame. If I understand your proposed system correctly, you have an HD sensor on the front end that will be hooked up to the BF592 over the PPI. The BF592 then takes that PPI data and ships it unprocessed to the FPGA over the SPI port...the PPI is a parallel interface that runs twice as fast as the serial SPI, therefore there is no means to take data from PPI and send it directly to SPI without first storing the frame to memory...as the BF592 has no external memory, you are limited to what is on-chip, which is 32KB; therefore, the BF592 would not be an option for this.
I have moved your question from the Processors and DSP community to the Blackfin Processors community. Please continue this discussion here.
Thank you for the information .
When the frame per/ sec is not important and if we have freedom on PPI Clock cant we do this .
I do understand the memory restriction would like to know any possibilities .
