Embedded Coder with ADSP 21489

Hello

I'm new to dsp and C/C++ languages, although I'm good at high level programming languages such as Matlab or simulink. Recently I acquired the ADSP-21489 EZ-KIT Lite, and I want to use it to implement a pitch detection algorithm, which I have designed on Simulink.

I have understood by this tutorial (http://www.mathworks.co.uk/videos/targeting-analog-devices-blackfin-and-sharc-processors-from-matlab-81645.html ) that in Simulink there is an embedded IDE link for SHARC processors, but it's not supported for the 2148x family. Thus, I would like to know what is the easier way to generate a C code from Simulink and if it's possible to target it to the 21489 EZ-KIT Lite and run it in real time through VisualDSP++

Many Thanks,

Best Regards,

Antonia
