Hi there.
I have a question about AD8604.
http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/data_sheets/AD8601_8602_8604.pdf
Please tell me how unused pins are treated.
Is the following treatment fine?
+IND: GND
-IND: GND
Vout: OPEN
I checked the datasheet and input voltage range can accept 0V.
So INpins should be GND, I think.
Please give me advice.
Best regards,
Tarzan
Hi Tarzan,
It is recommended that you configure the unused amplifiers in a buffer configuration, that is, -IN is connected to Vout. You can then connect the +IN pin to ground. Actually, the general rule is that +IN can be connected to any voltage within the input voltage range of the amplifier. Since the AD8604 accepts input voltages from 0 to 3V, you are correct that the +IN pin may be connected to GND.
I hope this helps!
