I would like to save the I&Q vectors of the Rx without using the GUI. Can anybody direct me where the I can find information how the Save routine hase been implemented in the GUI so I can replicate it in my design ?
We have streaming over the network to MATLAB/Simulink, rather than do it yourself - it's better if you can use what we have done (or are in process of doing).
I think we will check in this code in the next day or two, and then write a little doc in the wiki -- when it's done, I will post the link here.
Moved to FPGA Reference Designs.
When you say "GUI", did you mean "IIO scope"?
If IIO scope is an option for you, you can follow this section to save your I & Q data: http://wiki.analog.com/resources/eval/user-guides/ad-fmcomms2-ebz/software/datafiles#data_verification
Otherwise, we will ask for a Linux developer to help you.
I believe I need a Linux developer to help me. Our system works on Linux running on the ARM core. I'm looking for the comand that will allow me to save the Rx data. Behid te "Save Data" button in IIO Scope there must a comand. That comand or routine is what I'm looking for,
The code is here if you want to have a look.
Feel free to dig through it.
The first real question is - what are you trying to do (stream data? or capture a block?) and what are you trying to do with that data? Save to file, transfer to ethernet? stream out Tx?
Thank you for the fast reply. We need to capture a block of data (10ms worthof data @30.72MSPS), save the data to a file then transfer it to:
For now, if we can get 1- working that will be great. After that, they need to have capabilityto do both 1- and 2- because we need to debug the design using Matlab processing offline.
Meantime, digging in the code page will not get me anywhere due to my dusty skills in coding.
I know this is quite laborious work but maybe you know somebody that can point me to right place,
