My customer use DRGB 18Bits 6:6:6 TFT panel, so if want to use ADV8003 to output to panel, can you advise if support 3*6-bit buses? or how to use 2 x 8-bit or 2 x 10-bit to make image output to 18bits TFT no problem?
The various TTL output formats are shown in table 93 & 94. For a 666 bus you should set up the output for 24-bit SDR 444 RGB and just use the top 6 bits from each color channel.
I have the same problem.
The tables in page 88 show me the bus bit wide,but not the format, YUV or RGB.
So how to set the ADV8003 to make the TTL out working in RGB mode?
The 8003 does not have a color space converter between the VSP and TTL pixel port output. Therefore the only way for the 8003 to drive a RGB LCD is possibly by-passing the VSP completely. Of course this defeats the purpose of having a VSP in the path.
The new ADV8005 is basically the same as the 8003 except for a few fixes / enhancements and it added a CSC in front of the TTL pixel port output to drive LCD panels directly.
