Why the "DSP readback"module in sigma studio doesn't work?

Hi John,

I am now dragging the "DSP readback"instance into the schematic, and it is likely not to send back the value from sharc 21489 after receiving the "SS_CMD_BK_READ_VALUE" command from sigma studio.

As shown in the figure below is the data captured with logic analyzer,in which,channel0 to channel3 stand for MOSI,MISO,Clock,Enable signals respectively.

(1)I am not clear why the CS signal(Enable signal for enabling the slave) just stop after the read command transmitting from sigma studio immediately, but not wait for the data sending from sharc 21489 as the slave in the SPI protocol.

(2)Attached is my CCES project and sigma studio schematic project,is there any problem with my projects?(sigma studio version is3.9.2 with SS4S of 2.1.0).For buying the board from the third party, the only difference with the default project in CCES is the DAI and DPI pins' configuration, but that should not take affect in this case.

Best Regards,

Liang
