Routing PCB Traces inside FPGA ? Adv7188 - Adv212 - Spartan6

Hello,

In our prototype board we had connected video path as follows;

CVBS input ---> ADV7188 ----> ADV212 -----> Spartan6 FPGA

But Now there are some probeblities;

1- maybe i want to use de-interlacer such as adv8003 between adv7188 and adv212 and maybe not.

2- maybe i will not use jpeg2000 encoder adv212 and use directly raw data from the adv7188

I mean the process of the Project may lead to use, or not use some components. and this changes the pcb layout.

Now i have an idea of making a fpga centered star topology. In which each ic will be directly connected to fpga and fpga configuration will decide to connect the route traces inside. What do you think about this idea? I have doubts about clocking. Digitized video signals do not have so high frequency but i am not sure to use this topology. Please share your experiences with me.

Thanks..
