AIN and ADC assignment for video input of ADV7181D.

Hello.

 

I have questions about AIN and ADC assignment for video input of ADV7181D.

The customer is going to use ADV7181D with four CVBS inputs and one s-video(Y/C).
I'm suggesting the assignments as follows:

 

   AIN1 : CVBS (ADC0 is used, INSEL=1011, PRIM_MODE=0000, SEM_SEL=00, VID_STD=0010)
   AIN2 : Y        (ADC0 is used, INSEL=0110, PRIM_MODE=0000, SEM_SEL=00, VID_STD=0010)
   AIN3 : CVBS (ADC0 is used, INSEL=0001, PRIM_MODE=0000, SEM_SEL=00, VID_STD=0010)
   AIN4 : CVBS (ADC0 is used, INSEL=1101, PRIM_MODE=0000, SEM_SEL=00, VID_STD=0010)
   AIN5 : CVBS (ADC0 is used, INSEL=0010, PRIM_MODE=0000, SEM_SEL=00, VID_STD=0010)
   AIN6 : C        (ADC1 is used, INSEL=0110, PRIM_MODE=0000, SEM_SEL=00, VID_STD=0010)
   AIN7 : unused (connect to AGND)
   AIN8 : unused (connect to AGND)
   AIN9 : unused (connect to AGND)
   AIN10: unused (connect to AGND)

 

Question 1:
  About AIN1, there is a description of "INSEL = 1011" at "CVBS in on AIN1" on "Table 63 Register 0x00" on H/W manual.
  But on "Table 4 Recommended ADC Mapping", there is a description of "INSEL = 0000" at "CVBS in on AIN1".
  Which is correct?
  I think that "INSEL = 1011 at CVBS in on AIN1" is correct as long as I had evaluated it on your eval board.

 

Question 2:
  The customer doesn't use ADC2 and ADC3 because of reduction of Icc.
  I think above assignments are OK, but if we have any problem, please let me know.
