Is there any difference between -O and -Ov100?

When I enable optimization on a file, VisualDSP++5.1 appears to output -O and -Ov100 compiler switches to the makefile. If I've selected optimize for speed (100), are the -O and -Ov100 switches effectively doing the same thing? If not, how do I use VisualDSP++ to get -O without also getting -Ov100? I'm upgrading to version 5.1 from a version that did not have the -Ov switch. I'd like to set my project options to most closely match my old settings.
