I have made a firmware on Aduc7020 with IAR 4.40 .Now ,I wanna run it on Aduc7023,please let me know how and what i should do?
Further more ,does 7023 have some code examples to read?just like 7020.thank you~~~
There very little you need to adapt. It depends on what peripherals you have used.
Main difference between ADuC7020 and ADuC/023 is that the ADuC7023 does not have a UART.
But the SPI, I2C are a bit enhanced and also a VIC (Vector Interrupt Controller) is added to the ADuC7023.
Most appreciated option is that the DAC-output buffers on the ADuC7023 can be configured as OP-AMPs and also as ADC-input buffer.
Code-Examples can be found on the latest Evaluation CD - you can download from our ftp-server @
What's your reason to change to the ADuC7023?
Thank U for anwser me....
I just change to 7023 for lower consumption and smaller package. According to what you've said,I just use the ADC,I2C,DAC,and GPIO.What I care more is difference of the FIQ between the ADUC7020 and 7023,there is also no need fo change my code ?Do I need to modify my startup file when compiling the program?I have made a downloader to downloader firmware into 7020.Can it download file into 7023 as well?
If you don't want to use the VIC, you don't need to change anything.
FIQs are handled the same way in that case.
You can keep the old startup-file.
Basically changes in the startup are only required if you want to use the additional functions of the VIC.
