We are going to use ADAU1772 on a linux board and we need driver for it to handle 3 channel digital audio capture (via i2s tdm) and stereo audio output. On linux we plan to interface with the driver using standard "aplay" and "arecord" console applications. We would like also alsamixer and other alsa- applications to work normally with the driver. The linux is going to be Debian or Red Hat for the Wandboard (I.MX6 Freescale).

Any suggestions where to start from? Is there ready driver? Is there linux driver for a similar chip we can use as a start?

Thanks! Pavel.
