I've got an existing vca design set up to replace the DBX 202C vca that incorporates -50mv/db scaling law. I'm trying to adapt this design to replace the original Black Can DBX 202 that used -6 mv/db law. One aspect is that the 2018 ( I know it's being discontinued and I plan to get spares) is the control port impedance is 1 meg and the DBX is approx 200 ohms. I wondering if it's possible to scale it using resistors at the control port. I'm no designer and any thoughts would be appreciated.
