One of my customers is interested in ADV7511. He is looking for low power solution for HDMI transmitter.
Is the ADV7511 has a dynamic power mode ?
What is a power consumption of ADV7511, given Frame of HDMI 576P/50Hz ?
The power varies with mode-- in the hardware guide there is a table for the worst case which would be 1080p with the highest audio sampling rate. 576p would be less than that and closer to the "typical" numbers.
If low power is a concern, ADI has low power transmitters: http://www.analog.com/en/audiovideo-products/analoghdmidvi-interfaces/adv7528/products/product.html
They are NDA parts though so we can't discuss them on the forum.
Thank you for response.
Just for clarification, power consumption of ADV7511, given HDMI frame 576P/50Hz will be 200mW? (typical power consumption according to data sheet)
Regarding to ADV7528, can please send me full data sheet? I found just a short form of data sheet on ADI site.
Around that-- easiest to just do what they want to do with the eval board and measure to get a more accurate guess.
On the ADV7528, I'll contact you offline.
Thanks a lot.
