Demo program for zedboard with AD9467-FMC is not working through download.bat. I have attached the capture.
Unfortunately I'm seeing the same 5 LSB bit error. We are investigating the problem, I will let you know when we have a fix.
What you see in the UART terminal? And in the chispcope?
The attached capture looks good to me.
UART terminal is blank and on chipscope ---->
Can you tell me the configuration of Tera Term, configuration problem could be here.
Try with a baud rate of 115200, leave the other setting on default. Make sure that you chose the correct port.
yes this basic configuration i have done but still getting blank. Is there any jumper setting on AD9467-FMC or Zedboard??
i have all grounded jumpers (JP7 to JP11) on zedboard means default setting and for FMC its 2.5V (J1B). I didnt connected any jumper on others.
I don't think is a jumper related issue. I will going to test it the project once again. Till than please check once again, if you selected the right port and have the right settings. You can try it out with other UART client too.
I will let you know, if I'll find something.
thanks, yes please and i just finished my test with xps and sdk reference design which is available on wiki, its also not working fine. i have connected two grounded BNC on J100 and J102 to get 0 level on chipscope but instead of this i am getting very bad signal
Please tell me if it is working for you.
i have EDK 14.4 with evaluation version (well processing system and dma is outdated as well)
The download.bat script worked for me, so I presume you not have the right uart client configuration.
Regarding the 'very bad signal' please check this thread.
thanks for your reply and can you share me your configuration of tera term? and have you used download.bat script from .zip file from wiki page (means latest file)?
Secondly did you got pure sine wave? and this guy also didn't get pure sine wave
have you used any filter for pure sine? your answer will be very appreciable .
Below you can see a capture of my Tera Term setup. Please make sure, that the usb cable is connected to the UART port at the board. (You have to see an USB Serial port in the Device Manager under section Ports(COM & LPT))
I used the dowload.bat script from the zip located at the site. (./cf_ad9467_zed/SDK/SDK_Workspace/bin/download.bat)
The sine wave is not pure, there are some synchronization problems in the HDL core. We know about this, the project going to get an update in the nearest future, I can not tell you an exact date though.
I will let you know, when it is fixed.
Thanks again, i will try this again. Can you tell me for the pure sine wave what should i do now if it has problem?? Because if i will go with this then i will face problems in future when i will start to do data acquisition??
Secondly if it is possible then can you share your sine wave because its working with XPS and SDK but having error on more than 5bits??
wow i am also facing this issue and really thanks Csoml for the investigation, i am also waiting for that. . .
