How do i feed multiple video inputs to Blackfin BF533 EZ-Kit Lite REV1.5? And how do i configure such inputs?
Take a look at the example in the instalation directory:
C:\Program files\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 5.0\Blackfin\Examples\ADSP-BF533 EZ-KIT Lite\Video Input (C)
the readme txt file shows connections.
Thanks for the tip, but the example provided didnt initialise any video inputs. Its just using the default settings (AIN1) for their video input.
The problem im facing now is i want to input another video input say (AIN3/AIN5) but i dont know how you can access it.
The ADV7183A datasheet provided me with controlling it via functional registers but this function does not exist in the BF533 board.
Any help will be appreciated
Concernig your citation: "this function does not exist in the BF533 board."
The PF0 and PF1 pins are connected to ADV7183 sdata and sclock pins. So you can send commads to the adv7183.
Bf533 does not have a I2C channel. So you have to implemment I2C protocol by software using the programable flags. There´s I2C code examples in this forum.
Thanks for the tip, i looked at the source code provided from the website, it given in assembly code i was wondering if there is a C code for this instead?
There´s a device driver for adv7183, C code:
C:\program files\Analog Devices\VisualDSP 5.0\Blackfin\docs\drivers\decoder
Some time ago there was also I2C example written in C in this forum, just look for it.
