I am currently using both, a AD-FMCOMMS1 and an AD-FMCOMMS2 together with my Zedboard.
I managed to get Linux bootloaders for both boards and the AD-FMCOMMS2 seems to be working just fine.
However, the AD-FMCOMMS1 gets extremely hot (even though it seems to be functioning correctly).
I did follow all the startup instructions. In particular, I made sure that the jumper J18 was set to 2.5V as indicated in the Quick Start Guide.
I seems that it is not one single component that heats up but rather the entire board (or anything that has silicon in it).
Any pointers as to what I should check next?
