ADV7612 PRIM_MODE, VID_STD, settings for different video formats

I have questions regarding the Table 7 in the ADV7612 Hardware User Guide.

We need to support the following input formats:
1600 x 1200  Progressive  60Hz
1280 x 1024  Progressive  60Hz
1024 x  768  Progressive  60Hz
1920 x 1080  Progressive  60Hz
1920 x 1080  Interlaced   50Hz
1920 x 1080  Interlaced   60Hz
1280 x  720  Progressive  50Hz
1280 x  720  Progressive  60Hz

With a 1024x768 input source and PRIM_MODE=0x5, VID_STD=0x13 our image had "color bleed" and "dark Shadows".  It cleared up when we set PRIM_MODE=0x6 and VID_STD=0x0C (as described in Table 7).

1) Did this problem occur because we were programed for HDMI-COMP when were were using a HDMI-GR input video?

2) Can the ADV7612 be programed to auto detect these different formats or do I have to program it differently for each?

3) Input format 1600 x 1200 is absent from Table 7 and has only a vague reference in the entire document.  Is this resolution supported?  Is there any special register settings needed?

Thanks for the help,

  Ken
