How do I know the response time for AD9912 and AD9914?
Response time means how much time does the output frequency will be changed successfully and done , tks!
The response time you said would be the data latency or propagation delay in DDS. It is the propagation time from which you change amplitude, frequency or phase at DDS then arrive at the output.
In AD9912, FTW update: IO_UPDATE pin rising edge to DAC output is 60/Fsysclk ns. please refer more at page 7 of ad9912 datasheet, under propagation delay.
In AD9914, latency is provided in the datasheet, depending on what mode you are: single-tone mode, modulation mode, sweep mode, etc. please refer at page 6 of ad9914 datasheet, under data latency.
