Please let me know if Analog Devices has receiver which can support Dual-DVI or DP1.2 with a max resolution support of WQXGA (2560x1600, 60Hz) at input and output.
We do not have any DisplayPort receivers. We have customers using 2 of our single input HDMI receivers to do Dual-DVI but we don't have any single part capable of it.
Interesting, how do you align clock of receivers and transmitters?
We've never done it by my understanding is that they buffer and send the clock pair to both parts.
There is an application note from TI to this topic (using two single link dvi).
They say that doubling the clock is not the problem, but rather the internal delay in the chip might be variable from chip to chip (even if the same part is used). Thus there will be some engineering needed to resynchronize the two datastreams from the parallel bus. I'm not a DVI or HDMI expert. Those control data (VSYNC, HSYNC, DE) are transmitted in both links, right?
