PCG and DPI timer

Hello,

In an ADSP-21369 processor, I would like to use one of the three DPI general purpose timers to generate an interrupt every 10 minutes. I was thinking about putting the timer in the "external event watchdog mode" and as the input to use the output of one of the precision clock generators (PCG). The PCG would be used to derive from the core clock a clock signal with a lower frequency; e.g. 6 MHz. However, it seems that the SRU2 won't allow me to make the connection from PCG_CLKx_O to TIMERx_I although judging from Fig. 4-3 of the Processor Hardware Reference, such connection should be possible. To configure the SRU, I'm using the Advanced Expert DAI plugin.

I would appreciate any ideas or advices how to solve my problem.

Tom
